Our colleagues, Dr. Marko, Dr. Riečanský and graduate student Michalko, have published a new article “Remote associates test: An empirical proof of concept.”
The aim of this methodological study was to evaluate the core psychometric and conceptual assumptions of the Remote associates test (RAT), which is used to measure cognitive flexibility. Moreover, they developed a new method, the Associative chain test (ACT), which can be used to assess various lexical-semantic processes during retrieval. In conclusion, ACT can provide a more complex information about individuals’ automatic and controlled retrieval functions.
